Paper Forest is a one girl operation based in the Greater Toronto Area (Canada) dedicated to selling cute handmade crafts, stationary and accessories. Paper Forest was founded in 2008 originally as "Paper Stars", but adopted its current name in 2011. I hope one day Paper Forest will be successful enough to run full time! As for now, it's more like a part time hobby.
Cake aka Nikkie is the founder, curator and sole artist behind Paper Forest. I'm an aspiring freelance illustrator and entrepreneur; my ultimate goal is to pursue my little business "Paper Forest" while balancing a career in illustration. :)

Past I've always been interested in the arts and in high school made the decision to transfer to a specialized art high school. The curriculum consisted of a formal education in several traditional mediums, such as object drawing, life drawing, painting, lithography, etching, design, textiles, animation, photography, ceramics and sculpture, as well as some digital mediums such as Illustrator, Photoshop and Dreamweaver.

Present: I'm currently a second year student at Sheridan College for my BAA in Illustration, further building my knowledge and skill in both traditional and digital mediums.
